Next Increments Of Medium Earth Orbit Program Under Development
The US Space Force has issued a request for information for the next two increments of its Medium Earth Orbit Missile Warning and Tracking program. The move is part of the service’s efforts to enhance its space-based missile detection capabilities. MEGGITT DEFENSE SYSTEMS has also been awarded a $22.5 million US Navy contract for the production and delivery of F/A-18 Infrared Search and Track systems. Responses to the RFI are due October 31, according to Aviation Week.
