Boeing MQ-28 Enables Seamless Joint Operations
The US and Australia have achieved a major milestone in collaborative combat aircraft (CCA) interoperability, with the Boeing MQ-28 Ghost Bat demonstrating the ability to be operated seamlessly by both countries’ fighter pilots. According to Glenn Ferguson, Boeing’s director of the MQ-28 program, this capability is the result of a five-year agreement between the Royal Australian Air Force and the US Air Force, which has been working towards common standards and interfaces since 2021. The development was reported by Aviation Week.
