Thales has unveiled RapidStriker, a mobile air defense system designed to protect maneuver forces against drones and helicopters while providing ground fire support. The system, showcased at Eurosatory 2026, combines 360-degree detection, automated fire control, and a mix of effectors, including guided and unguided rockets and a small-caliber cannon. Thales positions RapidStriker as a response to the growing threat of drones and loitering munitions, with a focus on low-cost rocket munitions.
