Nasa Prepares For Launch Of Infrared Space Telescope
NASA has completed the final inspection of the primary mirror of the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, a crucial step before its launch into space. The telescope, with its 2.4-meter mirror coated with a 400-nanometer layer of silver, will observe the universe in the infrared spectrum, studying dark matter, dark energy, and exoplanets. The spacecraft is set to launch in September 2026 and will take up a position at the L2 Lagrange point, a gravitationally stable region in space. This development was reported by Universe Space Tech.
