German Manufacturer Expands Eastern European Presence
Rheinmetall has finalized a major contract with Romania worth €5.7 billion, covering a range of military equipment including Lynx combat vehicles, Skyranger air defense systems, and naval vessels. The deal, which is part of the European Union’s Security Action for Europe (SAFE) program, will see Rheinmetall expand its existing capacities in Romania and invest in technology transfer.
