Australia's Newest Airport Welcomes First Commercial Airlines
Qantas and Jetstar are set to launch flights from Western Sydney International Airport, with Jetstar becoming the first commercial airline to operate from the airport on October 25, 2026. Qantas will follow with passenger flights in March 2027, and both airlines will offer domestic passenger flights and freight services. The airlines will use Airbus A320 and QantasLink Embraer E190 aircraft for their services.
