State Funding Boosts Local Production and Job Creation
The New South Wales government has announced a further $225 million investment in low-carbon manufacturing, aiming to create more jobs and support local production of renewable energy components and low-carbon products. The funding builds on the state’s previous Net Zero Manufacturing Initiative, which has already created around 1,000 new jobs. According to Renew Economy, the new initiative will focus on commercial and construction-ready projects, with the goal of delivering immediate impact and supporting the growth of the local low-carbon industry.
