German MRO Giant Invests in Second Philippine Base at Clark Airport
Lufthansa Technik Philippines is expanding its presence in the country with a new base maintenance facility at Clark International Airport, announced during the state visit of German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. The facility, covering 157,000 square meters, will accommodate up to nine widebody aircraft bays and create around 1,200 highly skilled jobs. Operations are scheduled to begin in 2028, complementing the company’s long-standing operations at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila. The expansion was reported by AeroTime.
