NATO Air Defence Initiative Enters Next Phase With Key Partners
Lockheed Martin UK has presented its team competing for the NATO Modular Ground Based Air Defence (GBAD) project, which aims to create a modular, integrated air defence system. The team, led by Lockheed Martin and including MBDA, Leonardo, and Indra, will work on the project’s concept study 2 phase, focusing on modularity solutions. The NATO Modular GBAD project involves 11 NATO nations and has been ongoing since 2020. The project’s progress was reported by Janes.
