Brazil Carrier Expands Fleet With New Embraer Jets
LATAM Airlines Brazil has unveiled its first Embraer E195-E2 at the Embraer facility in São José dos Campos, ahead of the aircraft’s fleet introduction later this year. The new jet is part of a significant fleet renewal and expansion plan announced in 2025, which includes an order for up to 74 E195-E2 aircraft. According to LATAM Airlines Brazil CEO Jerome Cadier, the introduction of the E195-E2 will enhance the versatility of the fleet, allowing the airline to unlock new markets and expand existing operations sustainably. The aircraft is scheduled to join the fleet in the final quarter of 2026, as reported by AeroTime.
