Disney Partnership Celebrates Polynesian Voyaging Heritage
Hawaiian Airlines has unveiled commemorative aircraft liveries celebrating Disney’s live-action Moana, set to release on July 10, 2026. The first design, on an Airbus A321neo, features characters from the film, including Maui and Moana’s animal companions. Two more designs will follow on an A330 and a Boeing 717. The partnership reflects Hawaiian Airlines’ connection to Polynesian voyaging heritage, with the airline naming its aircraft after native birds, stars, and plants. The liveries were first reported by AeroTime.
