African Carrier Expands Fleet Amid Fuel Cost Challenges
Ethiopian Airlines is moving forward with plans to order new aircraft, including regional jets and freighters, despite facing significant fuel cost increases. The airline’s CEO, Mesfin Tasew, stated that Ethiopian is evaluating options from all manufacturers, with the Airbus A220, Boeing 737 MAX, and Embraer E2 being considered for regional needs.
