Estonian Robotics Firm Partners With Local Company For Assembly Line
Estonia’s Milrem Robotics has opened an assembly line in the Netherlands for its THeMIS unmanned ground vehicles, which will be used to support Ukrainian forces. The plant, run in conjunction with local company VDL Defentec, has already produced its first robot for the Dutch government, part of a larger pledge to send over 100 such vehicles to Ukraine. The THeMIS vehicles are configurable for various battlefield applications, including assault missions, reconnaissance, and cargo transport. This development was reported by Defense News.
