Protecting Mission Data In Distributed Environments
As AI becomes increasingly embedded in defense operations, protecting the growing volume of stored mission data is becoming a critical operational requirement. Pentagon officials report a 1,775% increase in AI use across the Department of War over the past year, with 1.42 million new users. To address the challenges of scaling AI without increasing data risk, defense teams must implement robust data-at-rest security measures, such as hardware-based outer-layer protection and independent software full drive encryption.
