Senior Leaders Train for Contested Environments in Tabletop Exercise
The US military has conducted a first-of-its-kind tabletop exercise, Aurora Pulse, to test senior leaders’ ability to operate in a contested and congested electromagnetic spectrum environment. The exercise, hosted by the Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Center, brought together leaders from various organizations, including the Coast Guard, Joint Staff, and combatant commands, to evaluate tactics and capabilities in an Arctic scenario. The event aimed to identify areas for improvement in communications, coordination, and spectrum management, providing valuable insights to adapt tactics and technologies for future conflicts. The exercise was reported by Breaking Defense.
