US Carrier Boosts Asian Footprint with Seasonal Nonstop Flights
United Airlines is expanding its Japanese footprint with new routes to Tokyo-Narita and Sapporo for the Winter 2026/27 season. The US carrier will launch a daily year-round service from Chicago O’Hare to Tokyo-Narita, complementing its existing service to Tokyo-Haneda. Additionally, United will introduce a seasonal nonstop service from San Francisco to Sapporo, operating three times per week during the winter months. This expansion allows United to tap into the growing demand for US-Asia travel and strengthens its partnership with Star Alliance partner All Nippon Airways. The new services were first reported by AeroTime.
