Expansion Of Turboprop Repair Capabilities For Key Engine Platforms
StandardAero has acquired Unified Turbines, a Vermont-based engine component repair shop, in a bid to expand its turboprop repair business. The acquisition brings more repair work in-house for StandardAero, adding capabilities on key turboprop engine platforms, including Pratt & Whitney’s PT6A and PW100 engine families. Unified Turbines has worked as a vendor for StandardAero since 2001 and will become part of its Component Repair Services business unit. The deal was reported by AeroTime.
