Aerospace Firm Completes Flight Tests Of Drag-Reducing Aircraft
Otto Aerospace has successfully completed flight tests of an uncrewed aircraft designed around its drag-reducing natural laminar flow technology, validating the aerodynamic efficiency of the aircraft. The flight test campaign, which was self-funded by Otto, was conducted from Spaceport America on White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. The UAS was developed for the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), according to Aviation Week.
