Five Companies To Enhance Cyber Security And Mission Upgrades
The US Navy has awarded a $453 million contract to five companies to support its Automated Digital Network System, the communications backbone that connects ships, submarines, shore installations, and aircraft. The contract, managed by the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command in San Diego, will see Global Technical Systems, Leidos, Serco North America, Systems Engineering Support Co., and VT Milcom compete for task orders to provide cyber threat upgrades, mission-focused upgrades, and other support services.
