Norwegian Manufacturer Eyes Growth In Counter-Drone Technologies
Norwegian manufacturer Kongsberg has reported a significant increase in Q1 orders, with a total value of 27 billion NOK, driven by deals for counter-drone technologies and weapon systems. The company is also setting its sights on US growth, with plans to acquire California-based Zone 5, a low-cost missile producer. Kongsberg’s revenues for the quarter were up 26 percent, with an order backlog jump of 17 billion NOK.
