US Carrier Expands Latin American Network with Caracas Service
JetBlue has announced plans to launch nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Caracas, Venezuela, marking its first route to the country. The airline intends to begin flights between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Simón Bolívar International Airport before the end of 2026, subject to government approval. The route is aimed at demand from customers traveling to visit friends and relatives, particularly within South Florida’s Venezuelan community. JetBlue expects to operate the route with Airbus A320 aircraft, offering free Fly-Fi internet, seatback entertainment, and complimentary snacks and drinks.
