India is seeking a greater role in shaping international norms for the fast-growing space industry, with a key ISO meeting in New Delhi focusing on space systems, safety, and sustainability. The meeting drew 131 international delegates from 13 countries, including representatives from national standards bodies, space agencies, industry, and academia. According to the Bureau of Indian Standards, India is working to align its standards with international frameworks, with the goal of promoting private sector participation in the country’s space sector, as reported by PTI.
