India’s Ministry of Defence has announced the roll-out of the first locally built Precise and Universal Launching System (PULS) multiple rocket launcher, designated Suryastra. The ceremonial roll-out took place on 23 May and was overseen by Minister of Defence Rajnath Singh. The Suryastra is capable of firing rockets with ranges of 150 km and 300 km.
