Finnish satellite company ICEYE has secured a major funding round exceeding €1 billion to expand its sovereign space intelligence business. The investment, led by General Atlantic, values the company at over €10 billion and will support the expansion of its global footprint, sovereign satellite systems, and data services for government customers. ICEYE has increasingly focused on offering governments access to its own constellation as well as dedicated satellite systems that can be operated nationally, with seven European governments having procured sovereign satellite systems from the company to date.
