Canada-South Pacific Links Strengthened Through New Agreement
Fiji Airways and WestJet have announced a new codeshare partnership aimed at improving connectivity between Canada and the South Pacific. The agreement allows passengers to book travel across both airlines’ networks under a single reservation, with seamless check-in and through-checked baggage to their final destination. Fiji Airways will place its code on WestJet’s Canadian domestic network, while WestJet will place its code on Fiji Airways’ flights between Vancouver and Nadi, as well as onward connections to New Zealand. The partnership comes alongside Fiji Airways’ expanded operations out of Vancouver, with three weekly year-round services starting June 18, 2026. This development was first reported by AeroTime.
