Potential Deal Signals Growing European Interest In Tactical Transport
Embraer has entered a memorandum of understanding with Hellenic Aerospace Industry for the maintenance and sustainment of the C-390 tactical transport, hinting at a potential Greek acquisition of the aircraft. Greece’s aging tactical transport fleet, with an average age of 51.8 years, is likely in need of replacement. The C-390 has already secured customers in several European countries, including Austria, Czech Republic, and Portugal, as well as in Brazil, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates. A Greek order would add to the aircraft’s growing list of international customers, as reported by FlightGlobal.
