Seven Next-Generation Satellites To Expand Earth Observation Capabilities
Axelspace Corporation has announced the launch of seven next-generation GRUS-3 Earth observation microsatellites, scheduled for no earlier than July 2026. The GRUS-3 microsatellites will expand Axelspace’s satellite constellation to over 10 satellites, enabling wide-area, high-frequency observation and rapid monitoring of changes on the Earth’s surface. The satellites feature a spatial resolution of 2.2 meters and a coastal blue spectral band, allowing for the observation of shallow coastal features such as seabed topography and seagrass beds. This development was reported by Axelspace.
