European Airframer Works to Overcome Panel Quality Issue
Airbus is working to overcome a panel quality issue affecting A320neo-family production, which has led to a desynchronisation between production and delivery. The company aims to have its delivery schedule back on track by the end of June, with corrective action involving the replacement of fuselage panels. According to CEO Guillaume Faury, the issue will be almost completely resolved by the end of the first half, with the company targeting the delivery of 870 aircraft this year.
