Ukraine Secures Critical Defense Assistance Amid Ongoing Conflict
Western allies have pledged over $17 billion in military assistance to Ukraine, with a focus on air defense systems, drones, and long-range munitions. The aid package, announced during a series of meetings between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European leaders, includes significant contributions from Germany and Norway. However, critical parts, such as interceptor missiles, will be in short supply for years, according to reports. The announcement was made during a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, also known as the Ramstein Format, and was first reported by Kyiv Post.
