XVIII Airborne Corps Refines Operational Capabilities
The XVIII Airborne Corps has completed its latest Scarlet Dragon exercise, focusing on refining operational capabilities and processes for sharing data and closing kill chains. The exercise, which has been conducted quarterly since 2020, experimented with incorporating commercial datasets and tasked soldiers with planning for sustaining combat operations for over 14 days. According to Maj. Brandon Rose, the corps is working to stay ahead with its data and inform commanders through agile and secure data transfer, which could be the difference in winning or losing wars.
