Kyiv Secures Energy Supplies In Exchange For Defense Cooperation
Ukraine has confirmed a series of ten-year defense cooperation agreements with Gulf states, exchanging its counter-drone expertise and air defense systems for crude oil, diesel fuel, and interceptor missiles. The agreements, signed with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, involve Ukrainian companies working directly with the armed forces of partner countries to protect specific facilities. In return, Ukraine receives energy supplies and air defense components, including interceptors to protect its energy infrastructure. The deals were reported by AeroTime.
