Ministry Of Defense Plans Robotic Logistics Expansion
Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense is planning to contract 25,000 ground robotic systems in the first half of 2026, aiming to double the total procured throughout 2025. According to Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, the goal is to have 100% of frontline logistics performed by robotic systems. Ukrainian forces have already carried out over 9,000 logistics and evacuation missions using ground robots in March alone. The ministry has signed 19 contracts with manufacturers worth 11 billion UAH, as reported by UNITED24 Media.
