Cambridge Aerospace To Deliver Systems Against Iranian Shahed Threat
The UK Ministry of Defence has announced a contract with Cambridge Aerospace for the delivery of Skyhammer counter-drone missiles. The system is designed to counter Iranian Shahed-style drones and will be delivered in May, with more supplies to follow within the first six months. The contract includes integration, technical support, and end-user training. Cambridge Aerospace says its Skyhammer system has delivered consistent successful interceptions of Shahed-style drones in testing. This development was first reported by FlightGlobal.
