Turkish Carrier Expands Flight Academy Fleet Amid Growing Pilot Demand
Turkish Airlines has placed an order for 10 additional Cessna Skyhawk aircraft to support its flight academy training operations. The airline’s flight academy, which already operates 66 Skyhawks, aims to expand its training fleet to meet growing pilot demand across Europe. Deliveries of the new aircraft are expected to begin this year. The order was confirmed by Textron Aviation, the owner of Cessna, at the AERO Friedrichshafen event in Germany, as reported by AeroTime.
