Falcon Heavy Rocket Successfully Deploys Six-Ton Communications Satellite
SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy rocket successfully launched the 6-ton ViaSat-3 F3 satellite into a geosynchronous transfer orbit. The satellite is the third and final member of the ViaSat-3 constellation and will target the Asia-Pacific region, adding over one Terabit per second of capacity to Viasat’s network. The launch was the 12th flight of the Falcon Heavy rocket since 2018. This development was first reported by Spaceflight Now.
