Two Months of Military Operations Against Iran Come with Hefty Bill
Pentagon leaders have revealed a $25 billion price tag for two months of military operations against Iran, with the majority of the cost attributed to munitions. The estimate was provided during a hearing in front of the House Armed Services Committee, where Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Dan Caine, testified. The cost includes operations and maintenance, equipment replacement, and other expenses. The Pentagon plans to submit a supplemental budget request to Congress once a full assessment of the conflict’s cost is available, as reported by Breaking Defense.
