Framework Agreement To Triple Production Over Seven Years
The Pentagon and Boeing have signed a framework agreement to triple production of the PAC-3 seeker over the next seven years, aiming to replenish munitions stockpiles and accelerate production. The deal, which allows Boeing to immediately begin ramping up production, is part of the Defense Department’s efforts to strengthen its supply chain and enhance the military’s advantage. Boeing has already invested $200 million in infrastructure to facilitate the production increase, and the company plans to make additional investments to enable PAC-3 seeker production. The agreement was announced by Breaking Defense.
