Defense Agreement Brings Joint Operations to Gulf Region
The Pakistan Air Force has deployed fighter jets and support aircraft to Saudi Arabia as part of a newly established defense agreement with the Saudi Ministry of Defense. The deployment includes up to 18 aircraft, based at King Abdulaziz Air Base, and around 13,000 Pakistani military personnel. The move is part of the Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement, signed in September 2025, which aims to deepen military cooperation and create a shared defense system.
