JetBlue Launches Boston-Barcelona Daily Service

US Carrier Expands European Network With New Transatlantic Route

JetBlue has launched a new daily nonstop service between Boston-Logan and Barcelona-El Prat, marking the airline’s second destination in Spain. The inaugural flight departed Boston on April 16, 2026, and was welcomed with a ceremony in Barcelona. JetBlue’s President, Marty St.George, highlighted the new service’s connectivity options through the airline’s Boston hub, noting that nearly two-thirds of passengers on JetBlue’s Transatlantic services connect onto other flights. The airline is using an Airbus A321neo LR aircraft on the route, which features 24 ‘Mint’ business class suites and 112 ‘Core’ economy class seats. This development was first reported by AeroTime.
