Hermeus Secures $350 Million Funding For High-Speed Aircraft Development
Hypersonics startup Hermeus has announced the closure of a $350 million Series C funding round, bringing its total capital raised to $500 million and its valuation to $1 billion. The new funding, led by Khosla Ventures, will be used to strengthen the company’s industrial development program, allowing it to build multiple aircraft simultaneously and scale its manufacturing capabilities. Hermeus is developing an unmanned military aircraft capable of flying at high-match speeds, with its Quarterhorse Mk 2.1 aircraft recently tested at the White Sands Missile Range airspace in New Mexico.
