Collaboration Brings Real-Time Insights to Lunar Orbit
Firefly Aerospace has announced a collaboration with NVIDIA to enable rapid on-orbit processing for its Ocula Moon imaging service. The partnership will see an NVIDIA Jetson module embedded on Firefly’s Elytra spacecraft, allowing for real-time data-driven insights from the Moon. Firefly’s Ocula service is set to be the first commercial lunar imaging and mapping service available on the market, with the company targeting a launch no earlier than late 2026.
