UAE Carrier Launches Largest Single Market Expansion in Years
Etihad Airways is launching its largest single-market expansion in recent years, adding five new routes to China and increasing its total weekly flights to the country to 35. The airline will begin flying to Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Hangzhou, and Shenzhen, in addition to its existing daily service to Beijing. Every route will use Etihad’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, and the expansion is expected to support Abu Dhabi’s ambitions to become a global hub for travel and trade.
