Israeli Carrier Expands Long Haul Network To South America
El Al has announced the launch of its longest scheduled route, connecting Tel Aviv Ben Gurion International Airport to Buenos Aires Ezeiza in Argentina. The new service, starting in November 2026, will be operated twice weekly with Boeing 787-9 aircraft. The route’s launch was announced during Argentinian President Javier Milei’s visit to Israel and has significant political implications, given Argentina’s large Jewish community. According to AeroTime, the Israeli government plans to subsidize the new service to ensure its success.
