Thales Secures Major European Air Defense Deal
Denmark has signed the first export contract for the SAMP/T NG long-range air and missile defense system, making it the third country to join the SAMP/T NG community after France and Italy. The deal, announced by Thales, includes initial deliveries scheduled to begin in 2028 and will operate the Aster 30 B1 and Aster 30 B1NT interceptors. The Danish configuration will also feature the Thales Ground Fire 300 radar and the New Generation Engagement Module developed by Thales with MBDA. This contract was first reported by AeroTime.
