Textron Aviation Expands In-Flight Internet Options For Citation Ascend

Textron Aviation has announced the availability of Starlink high-speed connectivity as an aftermarket upgrade for the Cessna Citation Ascend, responding to customer demand for enhanced in-flight internet capabilities. The Cessna Citation 560XL series has also received EASA certification for Starlink installation at Textron Aviation’s European service centers. This upgrade utilizes AeroMech’s Supplemental Type Certificate and provides more reliable connectivity over land, water, and remote areas. According to Cessna, the Starlink Aviation Kit consists of an Aero Terminal, Power Supply Unit, and one Wireless Access Point, and can be installed at North American Textron Aviation Service Centers and select International Service Centers, as reported by Cessna.
