Airline Group Eyes Minority Ownership Amid Rival Interest
Air France-KLM Group has made a non-binding offer to purchase a minority stake in TAP Air Portugal, as the deadline for rival bids from International Airlines Group and Lufthansa passes. The Portuguese government aims to select a winning bidder by summer 2026. Air France-KLM plans to make Lisbon its unique Southern European hub if successful, building on TAP’s legacy and strengthening operations.
