Massive Production Plans Unveiled for Family of Affordable Mass Missile
The US Air Force is planning a major boost for its low-cost cruise missile program, with plans to buy thousands of new missiles annually and spend over $12 billion on the effort. The Family of Affordable Mass Missile (FAMM) program is expected to produce nearly 27,000 missiles in the coming years, with production ramping up to 7,990 units per year by FY31. The program has been listed in the Air Force’s fiscal 2027 budget documents, which also name three vendors - Anduril, CoAspire, and Zone 5 - as active participants in the program.
