AAR Corp has launched a new subsidiary, Airvoyant, to automate aviation procurement using agentic AI. The platform, which integrates with Aeroxchange and Trax, aims to reduce procurement costs by 20-30% by streamlining and quickening the search for, sourcing, and acquisition of parts. According to AAR Corp’s chairman, president, and CEO, John Holmes, the action of procuring parts is still a manual and inefficient task, but Airvoyant’s AI agents can quickly analyze multiple supplier quotes and generate ranked recommendations.
