European Low-Cost Carrier Expands Inflight Services Through Digital Initiative
Wizz Air has partnered with Immfly and gateretail to digitalize its cabin services, enabling passengers to access a range of services through their personal devices. The initiative includes the installation of Bluetooth-enabled in-seat ordering technology across the entire fleet, as well as a six-month Proof of Concept program to test inflight internet connectivity. The airline expects to derive operational benefits from the deployment, including improved payment processing and real-time data sharing between the cockpit and ground. The partnership was announced on March 25, 2026, and is reported by AeroTime.
