Top Companies Pledge Increased Output Amid Rising Global Tensions
Following a meeting at the White House, six top defense contractors have agreed to quadruple production of ‘Exquisite Class’ weaponry, as termed by President Donald Trump. The expansion, which began three months prior to the meeting, aims to rapidly increase quantity levels. Previous agreements include multiyear deals to boost production for various munitions, including PAC-3 and THAAD interceptors. The meeting was attended by CEOs of major defense companies, including RTX, Lockheed Martin, and Boeing. According to Breaking Defense, the increased production may help address concerns about munitions stockpiles amid rising global tensions.
